Recommended Payment Systems

PayPal is the most recognised and use payment system.  Pretty much every online store, accounting system and application can interface with PayPal in its many forms.

It is recommended that you set up a PayPal Business account – keep your personal and business transactions separate at all times.

PayPal offers a myriad of options for payment processing.  You can order credit card readers from Paypal here.
Their transaction fees are as follows:

2.7% per US card swipe.
3.5% + $0.15 to key in cards.
2.9% + $0.30 to invoice.
1% for cross-border transfers.

Using the PayPal apps for both Android and iOS you can accept payments on the move as well as issue invoices.

PayPal interfaces with all major small business accounting systems making your sales and order processing easier to manage and track.

Paypal also interfaces seamlessly with online stores such as Shopify, ShopSale, WooCommerce, Wix, SquareSpace as well as other integrated plugins like Gravity Forms, Wufoo and more.

PayPal through their website allows you to manually create items to sell, custom payment buttons, subscriptions and more.  You can invoice, pull reports and transfer funds both through the website and the mobile apps.

As the leading and most well known brand in payment processing systems using and featuring PayPal will offer your clients confidence in ordering from you.  PayPal also offers both buyer and seller protection which some of the smaller lesser known services do not.  Depend on having this when you are working with clients and have issues arise.
